On Tuesday night, the U.S. Senate passed the Tax Increase Prevention Act of 2014, which holds among its dozens of provisions an extension of the federal $0.50/gallon alternative fuels excise tax credits and a return of the 30% alternative refueling infrastructure tax credits.The House passed the bill, H.R.5771, on Dec. 3. President Obama is expected to sign the legislation any day.

September 2014 Monthly Sales Recap
Normally each month we tout that fact that no one month’s plug-in sales has ever failed to delivered an improved result over the prior year. Counting September, that record now stands at 45 consecutive months.

44 million miles enabled
11.8 GWh of energy delivered
1.8 million gallons of gas saved
46 million pounds of CO2 offset
Price to customers $0
The figures are impressive, but even Tesla Model S owners know that Tesla is insisting the truth on that $0 price to customers.
